A Caring Culture in Action
From its inception in 1998, PAETEC has placed great emphasis on supporting the charitable organizations in the communities in which we do business. This idea of a Caring Culture has evolved from supporting local Little League baseball teams to a program that financially and practically supports hundreds of worthy organizations nationwide as selected by our employees. In fact, every employee of PAETEC is encouraged to use up to four paid hours per month to volunteer for the organizations for which they feel passionate.
Some call that policy unusual. We think it's a natural extension of a culture that permeates everything we do. Giving back to our communities is a way of life at PAETEC. Whether it's having our people serve on Boards of local non-profits, providing sponsorships of events, or putting together walk teams to support a favorite cause, our caring is a large part of our culture.
