The awards were included in the September, 2009 issue of Business Solutions Magazine (BSM).

The results are based on 19,833 votes calculated by Penn State University and BSM's editorial staff, and measured five categories: Richness of Features, Product Reliability, Ease of Integration, Ease of Upgrade and the Value Added Reseller's (VAR's) Ability to Service. The Allworx 24x took home the top score in the IP PBX category, and the Allworx 9224 won for IP Phones.
