October 22, 2009 - PAETEC Ranks in the Deloitte 2009 Technology Fast 500 List

PAETEC Holding Corp. (NASDAQ GS: PAET), which provides data, voice, and Internet solutions to business-class customers nationwide, announced that is has again placed on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in North America.

PAETEC Holding Corp. (NASDAQ GS: PAET), which provides data, voice, and Internet solutions to business-class customers nationwide, announced that is has again placed on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in North America. Rankings are based on percentage revenue growth over five years, from 2004- 2008, during which PAETEC's revenue grew 280 percent. PAETEC is one of only 22 companies on this list with 2008 revenues in excess of $1B.

The Deloitte Technology Fast 500 recognizes 500 of the fastest growing technology, media telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America based on percentage of fiscal year revenue growth over five years. In 2003 and 2004, PAETEC also ranked on the list at #2 and #154 respectively.
Overall, companies that ranked on the 2009 Technology Fast 500 had growth rates ranging from 212 percent to 146,050 percent over five years. PAETEC's revenues grew during that time period from $414M in 2004 to $1.57B in 2008.
