Managed Router Support Services Information

PAETEC offers three different Managed Router Support Services:

1. Router Configuration

  • PAETEC will configure LAN and WAN interface per your request
  • PAETEC configures your software-based services, including NAT, PAT, DHCP, and secondary interfaces
  • 2. Managed Router (includes all of the Router Configuration services plus the following):

  • Monitoring services to include auto-notification based on PING monitoring
  • Electronic notifications to include e-mail and pager messaging
  • PAETEC-supplied router software and Operating System updates
  • Trouble resolution, device fault, and configuration management
  • 3. Advanced Managed Router (includes all of the Managed Router Product services plus the following):

  • Customer notification by PAETEC Network Operation Center engineer via phone call
  • (Optional) electronic customer notifications to include e-mail and pager messaging
  • Unlimited changes

  • **Customer will not have write access to the configurations of the Managed Routers, which would be the sole responsibility of PAETEC from a maintenance and management perspective. Managed Router and Advanced Managed Router will only be supported in the continental United States in on-net locations.
