Local Business Lines
PAETEC offers both analog and digital local business lines. Analog access lines provide local dial tone for your traditional business lines. Or enjoy the savings of local measured service or flat-rate service that's based on your service area-plus custom-calling features such as call waiting, call forwarding, and caller ID.

Local DOD Trunks
PAETEC's DOD (Direct Outward Dial) Trunks carry outbound calls from your PBX (Private Branch Exchange) to anywhere in the world. They can also carry outgoing long distance calls to the interexchange carrier of your choice. PAETEC's competitive pricing, coupled with discounted rates on local measured service, offer you exceptional savings.

Local DID Trunks
PAETEC's DID (Direct Inward Dial) Trunks carry incoming calls directly to your PBX for routing to their intended recipient. Individual numbers for each user's telephone eliminate the need for switchboard or receptionist intervention. Plus, you'll enjoy significant savings with our competitive pricing on DID number blocks.

Two-Way Trunks
PAETEC's digital Two-Way Trunks carry both outgoing and incoming calls, giving you the ability to combine trunk groups for maximum network efficiency. Incoming calls can terminate either at a switchboard operator's console, or go directly to individual extensions.

Primary Rate Interface Integrated Services Digital Network (PRI ISDN)
With more efficient out-of-band signaling, PAETEC's PRI ISDN service utilizes 23 channels of a T-1's 24 channels for inbound and outbound calling. The 24th-or 'D' channel-is used for signaling information and call control. PRI service also allows you to:

  • Receive caller ID telephone numbers on every call
  • Transfer inbound calls to another location that's bridged in the PAETEC network-instead of using voice channels on the PRI service to your location
  • Combine your local, long distance, and Internet services on a single access facility (should you choose to allocate bandwidth for this business-critical data need)

TeleBlock Outbound Call Screening
As a supplement to PAETEC's Local services,* our TeleBlock® outbound call screening solution uses a centralized database to determine whether prospective call recipients reside on a DNC (Do-Not-Call) list. It's the perfect solution for businesses that generate approximately 50,000 to one million calls per month, or that utilize two or three T-1 lines. TeleBlock also offers benefits that include:
