Hosted Web Security Overview

PAETEC's Hosted Web Security provides organizations with the necessary components to secure and protect their Internet traffic from destructive viruses, spyware, and phishing threats, while maintaining control of Web content for enforcement of acceptable usage policies.

Web Anti-Virus and Web Anti-Spyware combine multiple commercial virus scanners to identify known legacy viruses while monitoring for spyware, adware, and malware. Web URL Filtering is an intuitive component, using a rule-building process to sort inappropriate content and file types enabling enforcement of Web-acceptable
usage policies.

PAETEC's Hosted Web Security is Available in Two Versions:
1. Web Security Service - With this product version, organizations can choose one of the following combinations to meet their business needs:

Web Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware, and Web URL Filtering

Web Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware

Web URL Filtering

2. Web/E-mail Protector - Bundles 50 users of Web Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware, and E-mail Security Anti-Virus and Anti-Spam over a full T-1 of Internet.
